Mechatronics Student Association (MKSA)
The Mechatronics Student Association (MKSA) was established in 2025 at the Diploma Mechatronics Department, Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT), Rajaramnagar. MKSA is a student-run body that provides a platform for students to enhance their technical knowledge, develop practical skills, and foster leadership qualities. The association works under the guidance of faculty coordinators and is committed to the holistic development of diploma students in the field of mechatronics.
Objectives
- To create opportunities for students to learn beyond the classroom.
- To encourage participation in technical, cultural, and social activities.
- To bridge the gap between industry and academics through workshops, guest lectures, and industrial visits.
- To nurture teamwork, innovation, and professional skills among students.
Major Activities
- Technical Workshops: Hands-on training in robotics, automation, PLC programming, IoT, Arduino, 3D printing, CAD/CAM, and related fields.
- Fresher’s Welcome Function: An annual event to welcome newly admitted diploma students to the department.
- Guest Lectures & Expert Talks: Sessions by industry professionals and academicians on advanced technologies such as Industry 4.0, AI, robotics, and smart manufacturing.
- Competitions & Events: Technical and non-technical competitions including project exhibitions, robotics contests, coding challenges, quizzes, and cultural events.
- Industrial Visits: Exposure to real-world applications through visits to automation plants, robotics labs, and advanced manufacturing units.
- Social & Cultural Activities: Tree plantation drives, Teacher’s Day, Engineer’s Day and Women’s Day celebrations, and awareness programs for social responsibility.
