The landscape of management teaching has changed drastically in the last few years and all the more in view of the uncertainties in the business environment and the technological advancements. This has led to an additional responsibility on B-schools to develop managers who are not only academically strong, but are innovative, sensitive towards global concerns, and socially responsible. For this the institutes must impart relevant skills in them. We at Department of Management Studies, RIT through our innovative and industry relevant curricula and experiential pedagogy are responding to this call. Our department is committed to provide need based Research, training and consultancy services to industries, using the advanced research tools available in our research lab. This also helps in developing our industry connect, indirectly helping us to prepare industry ready managers by offering internships in these companies.

Application of theory learnt is a challenging task of management teaching and learning, hence our department take up live projects from global research agencies with full involvement of our students. For developing functional skills, DMS, RIT is offering additional programs such as Post-graduate Diploma in Labor laws (PGDLL), Industry recognized advanced certificate courses like Microsoft Office Specialist , NISM and many more. We have developed Centre of Excellence in Analytics and Finance and risk management which enhances the process of learning, unlearning and relearning things and prepare lifelong learners.

Dear Friends, Greetings…!!!

Getting placed during the college is a dream for all the students and this dream came to reality when I got placed in ICICI BANK.I and my parents are really thankful to the management and college authorities for making my dream come into reality. I got placed in ICICI Bank as a Relationship Manager.

I feel, it is because of the efforts put by our faculties and Training and Placement cell, which always make sure that students get placed in the best company in the market.

RIT is a wonderful place for all the students seeking the right career. My college has given me and all my friends a lot of opportunities to get the right job. The staff at RIT is very supportive and really takes a lot of pain to develop the students. I am thankful to my faculties, staff and management of RIT for my success.

RIT is a place where you can find an amalgamation of learning, fun, culture and many such life preaching activities.

My life at RIT made me stronger and took me a step ahead for being an independent women. I am thankful to all the teachers who supported us and corrected us throughout our studies. I loved the infrastructure of RIT. The events that I took part at RIT helped me to grow my confidence. I would like to specially thank the placement cell for guiding me and providing me a good platform for my career to be on track.

The College has always provided me with every assistance that I have always wanted to. I was able to refine my overall Performances and build- on my Soft & Hard Skills.. I will always be grateful to them for providing me a platform of practical learning and preparing me for the corporate life.

RIT has been a great contributor to the development of my personality. I have established my leadership, time management and team skills and have also been able to advance these skills to the whole new level. The infrastructure of RIT, especially the library is one of the finest in the region. The best thing about this RIT is the cross-culture interaction between students from various parts of the world. You will get an opportunity to interact with many students from out of Maharashtra as well as out of India.

The professors have made the Management department what it is today. With an attitude of being ever ready to help, and not only delivering classroom teachings but also they have helped to explore outside world by giving opportunity to participate in various competitions.

Sometimes I felt like here at RIT lies the ocean of opportunities, you have to dive deep to grab those. The campus is full of knowledge. Various world-class newsletters and research papers periodicals are available at the library like H.B.R., IIM periodicals, Fortune 500 etc.) All you have to do is spend a time and explore it.
