Welcome to the Department of CSE (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) at Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT). I have been working as the Associate Professor & Head of the Department.

Our department is dedicated to empowering students with cutting-edge knowledge, practical skills, and a deep understanding of AI-driven technologies that are rapidly changing the world around us.
At RIT, we offer a dynamic curriculum designed to bridge theory and real-world application. Our faculty comprises experienced educators and researchers who are passionate about mentoring students and driving impactful research in areas such as deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, data science, robotics, and ethical AI. The vision of every faculty member is to develop and improve creative thinking and analytical skills of the students. The academic plan of the department provides an opportunity for the students to learn the strong fundamental, advanced, research and entrepreneur courses of CS/IT domain.  The well-equipped computing infrastructure with high configuration computers, recent versions of the software is boosting our students' practical knowledge. To improve the programming skill and logical thinking of the student, in syllabus all theory courses have practical sessions with more on the project-based study. Our department faculty use activity-based teaching and evaluation methods in all theory and lab courses. We emphasize hands-on learning through projects, internships, hackathons, and industry collaborations, ensuring our students are industry-ready and future-focused. The department also encourages innovation, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary learning to cultivate a generation of AI professionals who can lead with responsibility and vision.

The Department and college has active MOUs with reputed organizations like Redhat, TCS, Infosys, Aneka Cloud, KPIT, etc.  The Department has collaborated with various industries for student and faculty training, industry-sponsored projects, and internships.
