Music Club

The Music Club is one of the active club run by the students in the institute from the year 2014-15. Under this club, conducting different musical classes. i. e. Singing, Tabala & Guitar Classes. This club is working under the Cultural Cell of RIT. The professional music teachers are invited for conducting musical training. 

Objectives of the Music Club

  1. To Provide training facilities to students to develop musical skills.
  2. To organize & participate institutional level musical programs.
  3. To motivate the students for participation at University, State & National level musical competitions.

 Activities of the Cell

  • The music club students are actively participated in University, State & National level musical competitions.
  • The students of music cell were performed singing performance during Independence Day Program (15th) and Republic Day Program (26th Jan.) of the Institute.
  • The students of music cell were performed Singing Performance and Swagat Geet during Graduation Day Ceremony of Institute.
  • The students of music club were conduct the training sessions during the First Year Students Induction Program.

Achievements of the Club

  • First Rank in solo singing performance and Consolation Prizes in group signing performance in K3 Festival organized by Gandharv Farms & Resorts during 26 - 28th Jan. 2018 and RIT students’ team has achieved General Championship in this
  • The Association of Indian Universities & University of Mumbai jointly organized Jashn - E - Qawwali (2nd Inter University National Qawwali Competition) on 10th & 11th Oct. 2017 at Mumbai. The Shivaji University, Kolhapur got 1st Prize in this national level competition. Our RIT student Miss. Aditi Dhanawade (Final Year B. Tech. CSE) was performed as a team member of the university team.
  • Achieved 5th Rank in Western Group Song in Shivaji University 37th Central Youth Festival held at Karmveer Hire College, Gargoti (Dist. Kolhapur) on 22nd 2017.
  • First Rank and Third Rank in solo singing performance and First Rank in group signing performance in Vasantoutsav (National Level Students Competition) organized by PVPIT Institute, Budhgaon (Sangli) on 18th 2017 and RIT students’ team has achieved General Championship in this competition.
