“Empowering students to create solutions for tomorrow’s challenges in the ELectric & Autonomous Vehicles segment”
Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Islampur (RIT) and Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to offer a Post Graduate Diploma course in Electric & Autonomous Vehicles. Dr. Mrs. Sushma Kulkarni, Director RIT singed the MoU on behalf of RIT and Mr. N. V. Marathe, Director ARAI, Pune signed the MoU on behalf of ARAI.
Prin. R. D. Sawant, Secretary, Kasegaon Education Society, Dr. K. C. Vora, Head ARAI Academy, Dr. S. K. Patil, Dean Academics, RIT, Dr. S. R. Kumbhar, Head Automobile Engg. Dept., RIT and all the faculty members from Automobile Engineering Department, RIT and ARAI Academy attended the online signing meeting.
The course will commence in August, 2020. The duration of the program will be of one year. Students would be inducted at RIT in the first trimester and then they would study at ARAI in the second trimester. The last trimester will be totally devoted to project work, which is generally sponsored by Automotive Industry or can also be carried out at ARAI or RIT based on student’s interest.
