Chaitrali Patil from TY B. Tech. Electrical Engg. has got 9th Rank in 10 Meter AIR RIFLE (NR) Junior Women Individual Competition and qualified for National Rifle Shooting Champion to be held at Odisha in the Month of December 2021.
The third-year students of the Department Of Automobile Engineering Diploma have successfully completed their first commercial project titled "ई- राईट (ERIT)" Electric Cycle and the product has been transferred to the user by the auspicious hands of Hon. Director Dr. Mrs. Sushma Kulkarni and Hon. Dean, Diploma Dr. H.S. Jadhav. Also, Hon. Guests have felicitated the students for completing the first commercial product.
The project is based on the concept that the customers are already having their own cycle and some of the customers are wanted to have an Electric cycle. so instead of purchasing a new Electric cycle, the customers can convert the existing cycles to an Electric one. If they do so then customers can save up to 35 percent of the total cost.
The future scope of this project is to develop a Regenerative Electric cycle that can charge the battery even in paddling also.
The project was guided by Prof. R. Y. Chavan and all other faculties from Automobile Department Prof. P.A. Deasi, Prof. M.J. Thorat, and from Electrical Department Prof. G.R. Kavthekar motivated the students.
