About Food Technology and Management

The remarkable growth in the Indian food industry in recent years has created the need for qualified and trained personnel in the fields of food technology and management, food quality analysis, packaging and storage, cold chain management and safety. Considering all these aspects, the Department of Food Technology and Management is established in the RIT in year 2022 with an intake capacity of 60 students. The RIT is committed to develop future food technologists, food processed engineers, lab analyst, R & D engineers to cater need of the society in coming years. The department proudly houses vibrant, dedicated and motivated faculty members with several specialized sub-disciplines. The prime objective of the department is to create trained and skilled professionals to outfit to the needs of the rapidly growing food sector.
