Industry Study Tours:
Industrial tour has its own importance in a career of a student who is pursuing a professional degree. It is considered as a part of thecurriculum. The objective of an industrial tour is to provide an insight regarding internal working of companies. We understand that theoretical knowledge is not enough for a successful professional career. With an aim to go beyond academics, industrial tour provides students a practical perspective of the work place. It provides the students with an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods and employment practices. It gives exposure to current work practices as opposed to possibly theoretical knowledge being taught at institute. Industrial tours provide an excellent opportunity to interact with industries and know more about industrial environment.
Industrial Visit to Sahyadri Farms, Nashik and Participation in Business Conclave Organized by Arthsanket on 16th and 17th Oct. 2019
Department of Management Studies, RIT had organized a Industrial Visit to Sahyadri Farms Nashik on 16th and 17th Oct. 2019. 45 MBA students and 2 faculty members participated in the Industry visit along with one non teaching staff.
Students visited the processing unit of Sahyadri Farms where food processing and packaging of fruits and vegetables is carried out. Also, Arthsanket had organized Diwali Business Conclave 2019 in the campus of Sahyadri Farms on 17th Oct. 2019. All the students had participated and interacted with agricultural experts on the topic of “Management of Agri Products”. During the visit students interacted with Mr. Vilas Shinde who is the promotor of Sahyadri Farms.
