The Department of Automobile Engineering (Presently Automotive Technology) was started in 1983 with an intake of 60. It is one of the oldest departments in Maharashtra offering specialized UG program in Automobile Engineering (Presently Automotive Technology). Department has started the PG program in Automobile Engineering (Presently Automotive Technology) in 2010-11. Our department is providing the latest technology-based facilities for conducting experiments and carrying out research. Highly qualified and experienced faculty, through the use of active learning techniques, are trying to strengthen the teaching-learning process with outcomes-based education. Students are being trained to become industry ready through various tracks like a capstone project, industry-internship & project, undergraduate research experience, and entrepreneurship development.
