The importance of a full-fledged workshop for
training in mechanical or automobile engineering need no justification.
RIT has good workshop facility that includes carpentry and pattern
shop, painting and sheet metal shop, fitting shop, smithy shop,
welding shop, machine shop and foundry.
The CNC turn A-16 machine is installed to enable student to
take training in CNC turning & milling as well as computer-aided
manufacturing (CAM)
Various software like Master CAM Level II, MTS Simulation, software
for turning & milling available here add the competency
level required by industries. |
