Computer Era: Journey

                          Thrust Area in Computer Engineering (TRACE-2010) a three day workshop was arranged by Rajarambapu institute of technology's Computer Science and Engineering Department to explore the emerging area of Thrust Area in Computer Engineering. Chief Guest for Inauguration ceremony was Dr. Achyut Godbole.

                          Renowned personality in computer Engineering And author of books like 'Kimayagar', 'Arthath', 'Boardroom'. Dr. Godbole has focused on computer Engineering, Economics & Management with simplicity through his books. Dr. Godbole talked an information Technology: Yesterday, today & tomorrow, he had put forth the new trends in IT & there consequences and other sectors, with his experienced & knowledgeable sessions emerging trends in IT were brought in lime light.

                          Dr. M. Sasikumar (C-DAC Mumbai) who focused an cloud computing an emerging concept. Its pro-con's and implementation of cloud a very enthuastic session in which concepts of networking were revealed.

                          The next day's sessions were held by Dr. R.K.Joshi (IIT, Powai Mumbai) who with his immense experience gave elaborative knowledge about software architecture. Along with Dr. Joshi, Dr. A. Abhayankar conducted session who had 3 patents to his name and 3 in queue. The session enjoyed by all participant understood what quality research and quality Phd. is. Followed by him Dr. Athikk Shaikh gave an excellent demonstration of fuzzy systems.

                          Concluding day we had Prashant Katti from Mindtree who had demonstrated & through light on emerging trend software testing.

                          The three day's workshop was bagged with excellent speakers master in their corresponding area, gave ample amount of knowledge to all participants. O n this occasion Dr. Mrs. S.S. Kulkarni, Principal RIT, Mr. S.A. Pardeshi, HOD CSE & IT Department were present. Miss. S.B. Jadhav was coordinator of workshop.
