About Us:
The RIT Central Library with its state-of-the-art building, hardware, software and other allied resources is fast developing into one of the finest institutional libraries in Western Maharashtra. Its inviting architecture provides an ambiance that is relaxed but modern; and space that is large yet intimate. The resources available include books on an impressive array of subjects, course-specific reading material, academic journals and various digital resources. It houses sufficient reference and reading material for students and faculty from multiple disciplines.
RIT central library has a good collection of 1,55,300 + volumes, 39,306 + titles as well as 46,072 e-books, of all engineering disciplines and management department, includes more than 45,205+ reference books, 416 Standards. It includes extracurricular and competitive examination books such as GATE, TOFEL, and MPSC etc. Its total investment of Rs. 6.08 crores.
The Central Library invested 8.08 lakhs for subscribing more than 187 print journals of engineering and management.
It is also subscribed IEEE-ASPP, Science direct Engineering and Management, Delnet, Sage, E-Journals databases. It’s subscription cost is more than 24.10 lakhs. Turnitin Software, Grammarly Software, Overleaf and Paperpal Softwares, Typeset and Knimbus Platform is also subscribed by the library. It’s subscription cost is more than 13.43 lakhs.

Library Automation:
The RIT Central Library is fully automated with the latest KOHA (24.05.04) Integrated Library System (ILS), developed by Katipo Communications Ltd., New Zealand. KOHA, a robust open-source solution, enables efficient management of cataloguing, circulation, acquisitions, and serials.
The system features a user-friendly interface and a Web-OPAC for quick and convenient book searches. Bibliographic details of the entire collection are easily accessible through the following links:

The RIT Central Library is equipped with a state-of-the-art RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system to provide a seamless and secure library experience. This advanced system supports:

The RIT Central Library hosts an Institutional Repository using DSpace to archive and provide access to scholarly works, research data, and institutional publications.

Spanning a total built-up area of 36,356.22 sq. ft., the library is thoughtfully designed to offer a modern, comfortable, and resource-rich environment for students, faculty, and researchers.
