Team Luftwaffe Racing (Go-kart Team)

The students of the Mechanical and Automobile Department at "Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Rajaramnagar" came together to form a revolutionary Go-kart team (Team Luftwaffe Racing) and participating in Go-kart completion, which aimed at the technical and managerial development of the future engineers and giving them the chance to apply their academic knowledge practically. Team Go-kart i.e. Luftwaffe racing was established in 2014 and is progressing year by year with miraculous success. This team design, analyze and manufacture basic formula type race car called go-kart. Team is the leading team participating in national level Gokart competition, GKDC organized by ISNEE and other organizer, and grabbed outstanding awards at national level.

In today’s era, go-kart racing championship is a stepping stone for engineering students across the nation. Different organizers organize event every year for engineering students to showcase their talents by demonstrating and proving both their creativity and engineering skills. This is the competition where students are involved in designing, fabricating, testing and representing a vehicle in actual racing competition. The requirement of vehicle is that it should have very high performance in terms of acceleration, braking, handling and be sufficiently durable to successfully complete all the events of the competition. Each design is judged and evaluated amongst many teams present from all over the country to determine the best overall kart.

2022-23

1) Team Luftwaffe 9.1 (Go-Kart Racing Team) has again grabbed All over India 1st rank in the Go-Kart Racing Championship in Electric Vehicle category (Total 8 times AIR1), organized by Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers (ISIE) Indian Karting National Championship 2023 Event held at Budha International Circuit. This team is awarded with a cash prize of about 750000 rupees along with following Awards.

2) Team Luftwaffe 9.0 (Go-Kart Racing Team) has again grabbed All over India 1st rank in the Go-Kart Racing Championship in both Combustion and Electric Vehicle category (Total 7 times AIR1), organized by Indian society of New Era of Engineers (ISNEE) held at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore. This team is awarded with a cash prize of about 1.5 lakh rupees along with following Awards.

Team Luftwaffe 8.0 (Go-Kart Racing Team) has again grabbed All over India 1st rank in the Go-Kart Racing Championship in Electric Vehicle category (for 5th time), organized by Indian ociety of New Era of Engineers (ISNEE) held at Bangalore.

This team is awarded with a cash prize of 1 lakh rupees along with following trophies.

2019-20

Team Luftwaffe 6.1 (Go-KartRacing Team) has again grabbedAll over India 1st rank in the final round ofGo-KartRacing Championship for 4th time, organized by Indian karting championship (IKC- Nexus motorsport), this round was held at Mohite racing track, Kolhapur from 6^th to 8^th March 2020. Along with this,the teamhasalso won by thebest dynamic eventaward.This team has been awarded with around Eighty-five thousand cash prize and trophies.

Team Luftwaffe 6.0 (Go-KartRacing Championship) has receivedAll over India 1st rank in the final round ofGo-KartRacing Championship for consecutive last three years, organized by Indian society of New Era of Engineers(ISNEE) round was held at Coimbatore from 10^th to 14^th Feb 2020. Along with these following awards also won by the team.....

Year 2018-19

Team Luftwaffe 5.0 (Go-Kart Racing Championship) has received All over India 1st rank in final round of Go-Kart Racing Championship, 1st Rank in Autocross and received Best driver award, organized by Indian society of New Era of Engineers (ISNEE) round was held at Buddh International Circuit, Noida. This team has awarded with around Rs 85000/- cash price and trophy.

Year 2017-18

Team Luftwaffe 4.0 (Go-Kart Racing Championship) has received All over India 1st rank in final round of Go-Kart Racing Championship, organized by Indian society of New Era of Engineers (ISNEE) round was held at Coimbatore. This team has awarded with one lakh cash price and trophy.
