Computer
Science & Information Technology department has organized
a two week ISTE Workshop on" Computer Programming "(28 June
- 10 July, 2010). The workshop is becoming eminent due to
uses of advance communication technologies. This workshop
is being organized at 32 remote centers in India leaded
by IIT Mumbai. In this fast growing industrialization &
globalization of the world, providing quality technical
education is becoming highly important. By keeping this
vision in mind IIT Bombay has stacked this ambitious project.
Presently 1000 teacher across India are attending this workshop
at 32 different Remote Centers. All these Remote Centers
are connected with IIT Bombay through ISRO EDUSAT service.
RIT, Rajaramnagar is amongst a few Institutions in Maharashtra
having this facility.
Prof.
Phatak from IIT Mumbai is resource person for their workshop.
He is delivering lecturer from IIT Mumbai which are transmitted
to different Remote Centers. Any participate from a Remote
center can bare direct interaction with Dr. Phatak sir to
solve his queries. Also by the use of advanced technologies
like Clicker devices, Moodle Server, A- View software the
workshop is becoming interesting & exciting.
