The Information Technology Department is established in year 2001 and is having 60 intake capacities. The Information Technology Department has done commendable progress in a short span of past few years. Some of the students of the department are pursuing their higher studies (MS and PhD) in Information Technology at prestigious places like Texas University & Toronto University. So far it has produced 7 batches of graduates in Information Technology.

Many of the alumni's of the Department are successfully serving both industry & academia in India as well as abroad. The renowned IT firms like TCS, Tech-Mahindra, L&T InfoTech, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Geometric Softwares, and Mind Tree etc. have recruited our students through campus interviews. In the year 2010-11 the Department has got TCS accreditation which in turn has opened ample opportunities for fruitful collaborations with industries. The Department has signed MOU's with Kahuna, Wipro, and Infosys as a step of mutual benefit. The department has started CSI student chapter to motivate professional growth of the students.
