Bharat Forge Limited, Pune, A leading
MNC in Forging, has initiated the Talent Pipeline Program
to induct fresh engineering graduates into the workforce,
in line with it's vision to focus on technology based
innovations and building world class manufacturing plants.

Rajarambapu Institute of Technology,
in its efforts to build Industry-Academia Interactive
Platform and with its State of Art Infrastructure, Ecosystem
and Ambience for learning and teaching has entered in
to a Memorandum of Understanding with Bharat Forge Limited.

Over the past three years, about 200
students from Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical and Electronics
and Telecommunications Engineering Branches have availed
the benefits of the Talent Pipeline Program and about
70 students have been successful in getting the opportunity
to be a part of the workforce at Bharat Forge.

As a part of the tie-up, The Bharat
Forge Ltd., Pune has been sponsoring our annual National
level technical symposium, Quantum, from last three years.
The objective of this symposium is to provide opportunities
to budding technocrats to exhibit their skills and innovativeness

In addition to this, the top level
executives of the Bharat Forge have been actively participating
in the event by delivering the seminars/ presentations.
It helped immensely to aware the students about the latest
industrial trends. The inauguration of Quantum-2007 was
done by Hon. Amit Kalyani(Executive Director of BPL) while
Quantum-2008 was inaugurated by Hon. Basavraj Kalyani(Executive
Director of BPL).

Quantum-2009 was organized on 12th
and 13th February, 2009 and is inaugurated by Hon. Shyam
Takale(Vice President (FMD), BFL). At the occasion, he
also delivered key note address on current advancements
in technologies and opportunities available for budding
engineers to secure sustainable employment.

The Qunatum-2009 had given the opportunity
to students to exhibit their skills in various contests:
Paper presentation, 3D modeling using CATIA, Circuit Simulation
with PSpice, Clay Modeling, Debugging of C-Programs, Development
of innovative plans using AutoCAD and Matlab Programming
Contest. In addition to this, contest for Team Management
and Debate Competition is also organized.

All these events have received overwhelming
response from all corners of India. Total number of participants
is 600 and Total prize money of Rs. 75,000/- had been
distributed to winners.
