A one week Faculty Development Program titled 'AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING : ADVANCES & RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES' was organized by Automobile Engg. Dept. during 18-22nd June 2012. Forty one faculty members from technical institutes from across the state participated in the program. The sessions were delivered by experts in academics and automotive industry. As a part of the program the participants visited ARAI, Pune (Automotive Research Association of India), a premier research institute in automotive engineering. The FDP was financially supported by DTE under TEQIP.
