It ensures that parents receive the monthly attendance reports of their wards. This makes it possible to take all necessary steps to correct the lags and loopholes in the fast progressing semester. |

FE Activities
|
A lot of apprehension is underlying the apparent enthusiasm when an engineering student enters the campus. He finds himself in an entirely new atmosphere undergoing quite a different kind of education and learning experience. This challenge becomes more grievous for him when he hears the alarm of the first university examination. This puts in tremendous stress and his hopes start withering.
RIT takes special care in this regard. The first day is characterised by a warm welcome with a complete but gentle orientation programme. He needs to go nowhere for collecting his roll number or time-table. This relieves him from the first phase of apprehension and he feels quite confident.
In the first month, we plan no extra activities for he need
some time to get tuned with the academic environment. We plan
special sessions to address some genuine problems that they
face: ‘How to use calculator?’ , ‘Preparing
for the first university examination’ , ‘In the
examine-action hall’. These programmes make him quite
comfortable and he feels well-equipped for his take off. |
